Finally getting stuck into Portal 2 co-op mode with J. It’s fiendish and also AWESOME.

Cherenkov radiation is the characteristic blue glow of nuclear reactors. I don’t know if Aperture Science is supposed to be a nuclear-powered facility in-universe, but the unearthly bluish-greyish half-light filling many of the larger chambers is certainly evocative.

With a few mucked-about syllbles, these even fit to Still Alive.

…And, relatedly, Portal 2 is amazing and has possibly the best ending ever.

Can I play P2 when I come to see you this weekend pretty please? Send me the answer by Facebook message, as I’m going to be avoiding the comments section of this post from now on in case someone reveals what the ending is.

Oh man, the “collide in midair” puzzle was just EVIL. But very, very satisifying to do once we actually figured it out.
